We take direct, control-oriented positions in mid-market businesses across Europe and the Middle East — and, as a Qualified Foreign Investor approved by the China Securities Regulatory Commission, in China's onshore securities and futures markets.

We are backed by a single family's capital, which changes what we can do. There is no fund life to manage, no fundraising cycle dictating when we buy or sell, and no pressure to deploy for the sake of deployment. We commit when a business and a management team are right, and we stay involved.
Our activity spans direct investments, private equity, public equity, real estate and syndicated partnerships — but the centre of gravity is always the same: control or co-control of profitable, mid-sized companies we can help make bigger.

Health & fitness is where we have gone deepest, followed by IT and human capital. In each we look for companies with EBITDA between $1 million and $5 million, a management team that wants to grow and transform, and a credible path to becoming international — organically or through acquisition.
We do not invest in start-ups, in small companies, or as venture capital.

On 8 May 2026 the China Securities Regulatory Commission approved Jade Holding LLC as a Qualified Foreign Investor (approval 证监许可〔2026〕1068号), published in the QFI register on 5 June 2026. The qualification lets us invest offshore capital in onshore Chinese securities and futures — A-shares, bonds, public funds and stock index futures.
We invest in our own name only. We do not conduct any operating business inside mainland China.
